Miss Amy

Ms. Marina is the founder and the main caregiver of the Shining Stars Daycare. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Biology, she spent her early career as an educator. After raising two children as a stay-at-home mom and moving to the United States, Ms. Marina joined the medical field as a surgery room nurse. After assisting in over 1000 surgeries, Ms. Marina faced the challenge of finding a quality daycare for her granddaughter. A strong believer of all children being raised in a loving and nurturing environment and understanding the importance of early childhood education, Ms. Marina brought Shining Stars Daycare to her community. She aims to provide high quality care to all children in care and peace of mind to parents while their children are away from home. Ms. Marina enjoys arts and crafts, as well as culinary arts. A strong believer of healthy eating, Ms. Marina cooks fresh Traditional Armenian and American food every day. Ms. Marina is First Aid and CPR certified. She speaks English, Armenian, and Russian.

Miss Amy is a caregiver assisting Miss Marina. Miss Amy worked for Glendale Unified School District as Teacher’s Aid and English teacher in an Armenian school.

Her classroom experience, teaching skills, and creativity brings new projects and effective teaching to Shining Stars DayCare.

Miss Amy speaks English and Armenian.
